The most important factor in a diamond's brilliance. Cut refers to how well a diamond's facets interact with light.
Color
Diamond color is graded on a scale from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow). The less color, the higher the grade.
Clarity
Clarity measures the absence of inclusions and blemishes. Most inclusions are invisible to the naked eye.
Carat
Carat measures a diamond's weight, not size. One carat equals 200 milligrams. Larger diamonds are rarer and more valuable.
